New Delhi: Indian Farmers Union chief and senior farmer leader Bhanu Pratap Singh has alleged that Rakesh Tikait is running his agitation with Congress funding. BKU Bhanu chief Bhanu Pratap Singh said Rakesh Tikait works on funding. During the last 1 year of 'Kisan Andolan', the borders of Delhi were also blocked, causing a lot of problems to the common people. Finally PM Narendra Modi announced withdrawal of all the three agricultural laws.

However, even after all this, the agitation is not going to stop and BKU national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait is coming up with new issues every day. Thakur Bhanu Pratap Singh alleged that the Congress party does not want the 'Kisan Andolan' to end only then the borders of Delhi are not being vacated even after the repeal of all the three agricultural laws. He demanded that if force is required to be used to remove the protesters, it should be done.

Earlier, Thakur Bhanu Pratap Singh had also called Rakesh Tikait a 'terrorist'. Bhanu Pratap has been separated from the movement ever since the violence erupted in Delhi in the name of tractor rally on January 26, 2021 and protesters along with radical Sikh organisations injured several policemen and hoisted the flag at the Red Fort. Rakesh Tikait is now demanding a law on compensation and guarantee of MSP for 700 deceased farmers.

Rakesh Tikait has also announced the formation of a 5-member committee to hold talks with the Central government. The Committee of The United Kisan Morcha consists of Balbir Singh Rajewal, Shiv Kumar Kakka, Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, Yudhvir Singh and Ashok Dhawle. Rakesh Tikait said it is an "official committee" for talks with the Central government. Talking to reporters after the SKM meeting, he said that the farmers' talks with Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar had also not yielded any results.
