New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or RSS is called the father organization of the saffron family. Therefore, in the policies of the Center, sometimes its ideology is seen. But on the economic front, the Union's subsidiary organizations Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) and Swadeshi Jagran Manch have often opposed the central government's policies. The BMS has expressed its displeasure over the policies of the central government regarding government undertakings. The BMS has called a meeting of various employees' unions on November 15, fearing privatization of government undertakings. BMS has said that "future strategy will be worked out in this meeting after negotiating with all the unions".

BMS general secretary Virjesh Upadhyay said, "The current government's policy on PSUs is not good." Its policies have given rise to fears that the government wants to privatize various PSUs considered to be the backbone of the country's economy. During the tenure of the Indira Gandhi government, very poor policy decisions were taken regarding PSUs, they need to be stopped.

He said that "we are engaged in mobilizing various unions. The PSU associations from seven regions will participate in the November 15 meeting. The future strategy will be decided after the meeting. Upadhyay has demanded the government reconsider its intention to privatize PSUs. Amidst BMS's displeasure, two Union ministers Amit Shah and Piyush Goyal went to the headquarters of the union. It is believed that this was an initiative by the government to allay BMS's displeasure".
