Bhartiya Skill Development University partners with Universidad Catolica del Maule, Chile to provide better exposure to students

Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur signed an MoU with the Universidad Catolica del Maule from Chile at the European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference held in Helsinki, Finland. Under the MoU, the universities will exchange students and faculty for training, education and research purposes. The universities will also be organising short-term continuing education programmes and invite faculty from the other university to participate in them. Moreover, the universities will jointly organise seminars, conferences and workshops, and along with this, research and training programmes will be organised.

To begin with, both universities will send 5 students and 2 faculty members to the other. BSDU will be sending students and faculty from the School of Entrepreneurship Skills to the Universidad Catolica del Maule, Chile. BSDU’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla and Director of Admissions, Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal met with Universidad Catolica del Maule’s officials in Finland and signed the MoU. The EAIE conference was organised from 24th to 27th September in Helsinki, Finland, where more than 2000 universities from 95 countries participated.

Surjit Singh Pabla, Vice Chancellor, Bhartiya Skill Development University, says, “It is an extreme pleasure to be partnering with Universidad Catolica del Maule, I hope this MoU brings more opportunities for us and our faculty and students. Our faculty and students will get to go to Chile and experience the lifestyle of another country and the kind of exposure other countries can provide. The students will learn new things and get the required exposure which will help them in their professional life.”

The objective of BSDU is to support, promote and undertake the advancement of the high quality skill education leading to Certificates, Diplomas, Advance Diplomas and undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post–doctoral degrees in the fields of different skills and offer opportunities for research, advancement and dissemination of knowledge.
