Indore: Bhayyuji Maharaj, a spiritual leader reportedly committed suicide and shot himself to death at his residence in Madhya Pradesh. He has been rushed to Bombay Hospital in Indore where He was declared dead .

The self styled Godaman who hailed from Maharashtra, announced retirement from public life on 2017.

Bhayyuji, who is originally from Indore in Madhya Pradesh, shocked many with the sudden incidents. When he announced his retirement from spiritual life considering his proximity to political leaders in Maharashtra every one shocked.

Earlier he asserted “I have done whatever is possible for me. Now, I cannot do anything as I am not getting any support from the society. At this moment, I am an nouncing my retirement not out of frustration but because my conscience is telling me so,“ he said on his retirement .

Bhayyuji, originally named Udaysinh Deshmukh, received honorary Doctor of Letters (D Litt) from D Y Patil medical university. In his late forties, Bhayyuji is the founder of institutions like Shri Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust, Suryodaya Ashram.

He was associated with key Congress, NCP and BJP leaders for 17 years.

On his retirement he said that he has an 82-year-old mother and a daughter his first wife died recently and he got married again. He have a farm in Indore .
