'Bheed,' a social drama starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, has failed to excite audiences. The film focuses on the difficulties of migrant workers who relocated from cities to their hometowns during the first coronavirus lockdown. It follows many characters during the early phases of the Covid-19 pandemic-induced nationwide lockdown in 2020. It shows the realistic scenarios of many issues, such as food, housing, transportation, healthcare, loss of livelihood, and so on. It focuses on societal disparities and compares them to Partition in 1947. The music of the film is composed by Anurag Saikia.
