Muzaffarpur: Former Bhim Army district president Runjeet was killed late on Wednesday night in Paka village of Karja police station area of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The incident took place in a minor manner and the angry people lashed out and set fire on the house of the accused. After the incident was reported, other officials including the district SSP rushed to the spot and somehow calmed down the people who were making the uproar. At the moment, the police team is stationed in the village.

According to the information received, two youths in the village on Wednesday night began to hear a minor talk between Rinku and Runjeet alias John's brother. In view of this, Runjeet went there. Meanwhile, Runjeetwas attacked with a knife. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bararia with the help of local people, where he was declared dead by a team of doctors. After hearing the news of Runjeet's death, angry villagers attacked the house of the accused Rinku. After the incident, the accused escaped from the house with his entire family. The villagers set fire to his house by not finding the accused at home.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police of Karja station rushed to the spot and informed the high officials in view of the seriousness of the case. Thereafter, a large number of police stations including SSP Jayant Kant, City SP Rajesh Kumar and Saraiya SDPO rushed to the spot and calmed down the people.
