There are many temples of God in India and there are some secrets related to each temple, no one has known the truth behind it. One such mystery is associated with Kedarnath.

What happened in Kedarnath - On 16 June 2013, there was a severe flood in Kedarnath. There was heavy rainfall in the month of June and at that time clouds were burst. It is said that a lake was formed near the Chaurabari glacier, 5 km above the Kedarnath temple, and due to its breakage, the entire water came down due to the strong current. The scene during that time can be called the deluge. On 16 June, it was about 8 o'clock at night, when suddenly a strong flow of water was seen coming from the uphill part behind the temple. Seeing this scene, all the pilgrims went to the temple. After that, people kept saying to each other that 'nothing will happen to us'. During that time there was a flood of water around the temple. The cataclysm destroyed the leaves of the Kedar valley. The temple was also under threat, but the two sadhus of Kedarnath say a miracle happened which saved the temple and Shivalinga.

What had happened- On June 16, when the swamp came, both these sadhus saved their lives by climbing on a pillar near the temple and waking up overnight. During that time both the monks saw that a huge Damrunuma rock at an estimated speed of 100 was flooded from the mountain behind the temple, but suddenly that rock stopped about 50 feet behind the temple. The sadhus say that they felt as if someone had stopped the damrunnah rock. After that, due to that rock, the strong water of the flood was cut in two and flowed out from both sides of the temple. During that time, around 300 to 500 people were sitting in the shelter of Lord Shiva.

The sadhus tell that when they saw that rock coming towards the temple, they were blown away, but a sudden miracle saved everyone. It is said that about 10 thousand people died in that catastrophic flood. The Damrunuma rock which was protected at that time is called as Bhima Shila and people also worship him. No one knows where that rock-cut rock came from, but it can be called the miracle of God that he did for his devotees.
