The year 2019 has been full of ups and downs for the Bhojpuri cinema. Somewhere, many stars were trolled on social media, but with this, two actresses of Bhojpuri films got married. Seema Singh, an actress known as Bhojpuri item queen, married her fiance Saurabh Kumar on 13 March.

The Bhojpuri item queen revealed her wedding date while sharing her engagement photos on social media. Seema and Sourav met during a dance show. On the show itself, Saurav proposed Seema, after which both decided to get married.

Akanksha Awasthi, who has become the famous face of Bhojpuri films, also got married to businessman Vivek Kumar of Lucknow in July. She shared a video of her wedding on social media in which she is seen doing a tremendous dance on 'Kala Chashma'.

Akanksha started her film career in the Bhojpuri cinema with superstar Khesarilal Yadav from 'Dabang Sarkar' after which she appeared in Pawan Singh's Bhojpuri film 'Jai Hind'. 'Vivah' is going to be released at the box office soon. Apart from Seema Singh, she has acted in more than 500 Bhojpuri films. She was awarded the Best Dancer Award at the World Bhojpuri Conference in the year 2017.
