Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday held a review meeting of YS Jagannath Saswata Bhoomi Hakku-Bhoomi Defense Scheme at the camp office at Tadepalli. During the review meeting, CM Jagan gave many important suggestions to the officials. He said that the process of registration and conversion should be done within the village secretariats and directed the officials to take appropriate measures to protect the survey data. The CM said that the records should also be updated at the time of sale of land. He suggested that every year land records update program should be organized once in a week. The CM said that the Prohibited Land Cases (22A) should be investigated.

The Chief Minister said that when the land is sold, it should be updated in the record of the seller and the record of the buyer in respect of passbook. The CM said that the SOP should be developed based on his recommendations for registration and mutation procedures. CM YS Jagan further directed that adequate technical equipment be made available to complete the land survey. It is suggested that adequate drones be made available for this purpose. He said that every year the land records should be updated within a week.

"The reforms we are bringing should have no place for corruption, it should be for the benefit of farmers and landlords," he said. CM suggested that effective guidelines should be prepared for this. CM Jagan directed the officials to take appropriate action instead of repeating the mistakes made in the records regarding the issue of prohibited lands during the previous government tenure. However, as part of the review of the plan, officials briefed the Chief Minister about the progress and objectives of the comprehensive land survey work.
