Bareilly: An interesting incident has come to light from Bareilly in the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh. There was a robbery in Bareilly on 7th November. After a lot of effort, the police caught the gang involved in the robbery and when the interrogation started, the police got the news of kidnapping. This robbery has been done by the ghost and his gang. Now the police have arrested Ghost and his gang.
Businessman Jalees Ahmed, along with his wife and children, was sleeping on the top floor of the house in Bareilly's Nababganj on November 7. Due to this, about a dozen masked criminals raided his house and took the entire family hostage on the strength of weapons and robbed about 12 lakhs including cash and jewellery. SSP Rohit Sajwan told that by setting up several teams, efforts were made to nab the criminals. Due to this, the police came to know that the gang of Farhan, who is popularly known as Bhoot among friends and gang members, has carried out this robbery.
After 25 days of the same case, police have arrested 10 criminals of the Ghost gang while disclosing the crime, while two criminals are still absconding. The police have also recovered five pistols from the criminals along with the looted jewellery and cash worth 2.5 lakh from the businessman's house. Actually, the story of Farhan becoming famous by the name of Bhoot is no less interesting. Farhan used to do vagabonds throughout the night and slept by selling horses during the day. Farhan, a resident of Subhashnagar in Bareilly, is the kingpin of the gang.
