Bhopal: BJP MLA from Huzur assembly seat in Bhopal Rameshwar Sharma has recently once again made a controversial statement. In fact, he has always been in the news for his statements and now this time his statement has again come under controversy.

Delivering his speech on Hindutva during an event in the Sagar district, he said, "Jodha-Akbar did not have a love marriage. Rather, the daughter was at stake for power.'' Rameswaram's statement has now been doing the rounds on social media. In his statement, Rameshwar Sharma said, "There was never I love you between Jodha and Akbar. Neither did they met in college, nor did they met in the gym, nor in the coffee house, the robbers who sacrificed their daughters-in-law for the lure of power. When people become greedy for power and put their daughter at stake for power, beware of robbers who are yours and can deceive religion.''

His statement has now created a stir. After his statement, there is now resentment from the Rajputs. In fact, the Rajput community is very angry with Rameshwar's statement. However, after his controversial statement, he also made his statement in the glory of the Rajputs. He said, "Hinduism has been safe only because of Rajputs like Kshatriya Maharana Pratap and Chhatrasal, who do not bow down to the Mughals, have fought with swords, we are proud of them.'' Talking about Jodhabai's father Man Singh, he said that those who cheated the society and the country should make their own decisions. The MLA has now issued a statement seeking an apology. The MLA said, "If anyone is hurt by his statement, he apologises.''
