Bhopal: A number of cases have been reported from across the country, while students of 10th standard of St. Joseph's Co-ed School in Arera Colony were stabbed by 11th standard students of the school on Tuesday along with their colleagues. The two students sustained serious injuries in the attack. A student has been admitted to a private hospital with a knife in his throat. The cause of the dispute has not come to light at present. The injured students say they had no dispute with the attackers. He had left the school to eat ice cream after the examination was over. Habibganj police have registered a case against his friends including the main accused student.

According to the same police, Arshan, a resident of Fatehgarh Talaiya, is a 10th standard student at St. Joseph's Co-ed School. He said there was a pre-board exam on Tuesday. After the examination was over at around 2 pm, he left the school with Afshan, Rahim, Arim, who were studying with him. The four friends approached the number 10 bus stop a short distance from school to eat ice cream.

The same Arshan ordered ice cream. Meanwhile, Alok, an 11th student studying in his school, arrived with four or five of his friends. Arshan alleges that as soon as he arrived, he started abusing him. Before we could understand anything, he took out a knife and hit him on the shoulder. Afshan intervened when the accused also stabbed him in the neck back. The criminals also beat Rahim and Arim with belts and punches.
