Bhopal: We all know that it is illegal to take dowry, although this ritual is still being performed openly in many parts of the country. There are many grooms who donot take dowry. Now, amidst all this, there is a reverse case from Madhya Pradesh. The matter surprised everyone. In fact, here, the bride refused to go to her in-laws for not taking dowry items after marriage.  The case is said to be from arera colony, a posh locality in Bhopal. The couple living here got married on February 14, 2021.

At the wedding, the girls gave the groom a car and several valuables, but the girl's in-laws refused to carry the luggage. Seeing this happen, the boy's wife insists that she accept the dowry items and bring it home. The husband has now approached the court to bring the angry wife home. Some media reports have revealed that the husband has filed a complaint under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, which is being heard in the court. The husband has argued, 'There is no place to store goods at his house, and he tried hard to convince his wife too, but he is not ready to accept it. '

The girl and her family, on the other hand, say, 'He is giving his son-in-law his happy stuff, not dowry. They have only one daughter and they had arman to give all kinds of items at the wedding.
