New Delhi: Rain has been continuing in the country's capital Delhi NCR since early morning today i.e. It has been raining here since 6 a.m. Moreover, the rain continued in several districts of Haryana adjoining Western UP, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. Let me tell all of you that at 03:55 this morning, IMD had issued a rain alert saying that during the next 2 hours, rain and winds with mild to moderate intensity will occur at isolated places in Delhi, NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula) and adjoining areas at a speed of 20-40 kmph. In Madhya Pradesh, a yellow alert has been sounded in 19 districts indicating heavy rains.

In fact, Senior Meteorologist PK Saha of Bhopal office of IMD said that heavy rain alert has been sounded at several places in Jabalpur, Sehore, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar Malwa, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Rajgarh, Guna, Sheopur, Anuppur, Balaghat, Sivani, Dhar, Shivpuri and Morena districts till Saturday. At the same time, he also said, "Thundershowers are likely to occur at several places in ten divisions of the State including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Chambal, and Jabalpur.''

At present, a monsoon trough was passing through Tikamgarh and besides, there was a low-pressure area over eastern Rajasthan, which has created moisture in Madhya Pradesh. A low-pressure area is expected to be formed over the Central Bay of Bengal in the coming 24 hours. With this, rain has been predicted in MP till September 14. Moreover, the MET department has predicted thundershowers in several areas in UP and Bihar today. In fact, thundershowers are expected in Amroha, Rampur, and Moradabad in UP. Haryana and Rajasthan are also likely to receive rain.
