Bhopal: A shocking case of negligence has come to light at Hamidia Hospital in the capital Bhopal. In fact, due to lack of bed here, a patient had to stay in an ambulance outside the hospital for 3 hours. The family members of the patient reportedly continued to give him their oxygen from the ambu bag. As soon as the video of the case surfaced, the gross negligence of Hamidia Hospital has been exposed. On the one hand, it is being claimed that there is no dearth of anything in Madhya Pradesh, on the other hand, such an incident is shocking.

In this case, the patient succumbed to his injuries the next morning after not getting proper treatment. The youth was reportedly referred to Bhopal after a road accident in Sagar district. UmaShankar Patel, a resident of Shahgarh in Sagar, was riding a bike two days ago when the bike collided with an animal on the road and went out of control and sustained head injuries in the accident. As soon as they came to know about it, the family rushed them to Shahgarh Civil Hospital. From here he was sent to Bundelkhand Medical College but after not getting proper treatment, the family took him to a private hospital and from there he was referred to Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal.

Even here, treatment could not be found and then Umashankar passed away. Umashankar's cousin Babloo Patel said doctors reported that the ventilator is not empty. In this case, the hospital argues that the trauma centre at Hamidia Hospital has been made a covid ward. The emergency ward has since been shifted to the surgical section, which lacks modern facilities. In this case, the hospital management has claimed that after waiting for some time, the family members of the patient took him to a private hospital and then returned.
