Bhubaneswar to hold Regional Meet On ‘Replication Of Good Governance Practices’

Bhubaneswar: On December 3-4, 2021, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), in partnership with the Government of Odisha, will hold a semi-virtual Regional Conference on the theme "Replication of Good Governance Practices" in Bhubaneswar. During the event, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Minister of Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh will deliver speeches. The valedictory session will be addressed by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra and DARPG Secretary Sanjay Singh.

The Conference's major goal is to bring together national and state-level public administration organisations to discuss experiences and innovations in public administration, changing future public solutions to improve quality of life, e-Governance and Digital Governance, and other topics. The Conference is a two-day event in which state representatives/DM/DC are asked to give presentations on their countries' good governance methods for wider dissemination.

The initial session on the topic "Innovations (Districts)" will be chaired by Anu Garg, Principal Secretary, Government of Odisha. The second session, led by NBS Rajput, Joint Secretary, will discuss "Innovations (States)"
