South and Bollywood actress Bhumika Chawla does not spend her time watching any TV shows but 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' hosted by Amitabh Bachchan is a show she loves watching every day according to media reports
'Tere Naam' actress Bhumika Chawla has said, 'I hardly watch TV now. If I see it, it's KBC. Every year, 21st November is celebrated as World Television Day which emphasizes how TV plays an important role in presenting various issues affecting people.
Continuing, Bhumika said, "With television, we see a lot, sometimes more than necessary." I was very young when TV came. I used to watch Chitrahar, Ramayana, Mahabharata and DD news with my father. She also talked about her childhood, Sunday used to be movies time. There were also serials like Udaan and cartoons like Spider-Man.
Bhumika Chawla further said that I think with the plethora and excess of programmes and news, it is no longer more fun. It distracts families instead of tying them together. News channels in India can be more subtle and real. Not only that but Bhumika Chawla made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's movie Tere Naam. She has also appeared in Hindi films like Run, Dil Ne Apna Kaha, Silsiilay, Gandhi My Father, Dil Jo Bhi Kahe. SHe has also acted in several south films.
