Congress leader and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda On Tuesday appeared in Panchkula CBI court in the AJL plot allocation case. AJL House chairman Moti Lal Vora was not able to appear in court due to ill health. Due to this, today's proceedings could not proceed. The next hearing of the case is going to be held on 28 November.
According to the media report, earlier the CBI court had approved the petition filed by the defense for permanent exemption due to age and medical reasons of Motilal Vora, accused in the case. In the next hearing of the case, the allegations against both the accused will be debated. When the plot was allotted, Hooda was the chairman of Haryana Urban Development Authority, while Motilal Vohra was the chairman of AJL House.
The scrutiny of the charge sheet in the plot allocation case in the Panchkula Special CBI Court has already been completed. A charge sheet was filed against both the leaders on December 1 last year. Hooda on charges that he remain chief of the National Herald Associates General Limited (Ajeel) has got allotted plots at rates of 1982 to 2005.
