John Abraham's recent release, 'Batla House' tells the story of a shootout between the seven-member team of the Delhi Police Cell and the suspect MujaHindian. The terrorist was reportedly involved in a series of blasts in Delhi on September 13, 2008, and the film on the incident may have had to be released on a fictional story on a court order, though its producer Bhushan Kumar was also behind the film.
Unveiling his reasons for producing the film by producer Bhushan Kumar recently said, "First and foremost, I liked Ritesh Shah's commitment to the subject behind working with the project and, for the first of all, He also did a deep research on the whole matter and a fascinating story has been brilliantly threaded with all the facts," he said.
"The film starts with a bang and maintains its tempo all the time," Bhushan added. Secondly, I felt that this is a story that needs to be told to the younger generation of today, especially what happened after the Encounter."
