Shahdol: 3 persons lost their lives when a bus overturned in Shahdol town of Madhya Pradesh. More than 36 passengers were injured in the bus accident, while 10 injured persons admitted to the district hospital and 26 to the medical college. According to the report, the accident took place around 11.30 pm on Saturday. According to Rameshwar Uike, in-charge of the Singhpur police station, the bus (CG 09 JM 6758) going from Kawardha to Lucknow in Chhattisgarh overturned at Pathkhai Ghat, about 35 km from Shahdol.
In the same accident, 12-year-old Mahima Kashyap, a resident of Mungeli-Chhag, 26-year-old Nadir Khan, a resident of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh, died. Another deceased could not be identified. Whose age is about 55 years. According to Uike, the truck going towards Shahdol in the ghat was already parked. The bus came from the front. While taking the bus out of the driver's side, the driver could not understand the deep pit and due to the same pit, the bus overturned. Immediately after the incident, Mohammad Sohel resident Kerha had reached there with a mini truck. He reported the matter to his owner and the owner informed the Singhpur police station. As soon as the information was received, the police went to the spot and helped the injured persons.
It is being said that there were 50 people on board the bus of Bhoramdev Travels. 36 people were injured in the accident. As soon as the news of the accident came, the police reached the spot and rushed the injured persons to the hospital. 26 injured persons have been admitted to Shahdol Medical College and 10 to the District Hospital. Later, 8 injured persons were discharged after first aid. The driver and conductor fled from the spot after the accident. A case has been registered against the bus driver. Shahdol District Magistrate Vandana Vaidya also reached the spot and discussed with the people.
