Hyderabad: An accident took place in the Afzalganj area of Hyderabad at around 10 am today. A chemical trader died on the spot. The news of the accident in the area created a state of panic. Police said that the businessman used to throw the chemical in the drain in front of his shop, the accident took place while removing it.
Chemical trader Bharat Bhattar was killed on the spot in an accident that took place at Mogram Basti in the Maharajganj area of Afzalganj this morning. According to the police, Bharat Bhatter is running a chemical business and used to throw the expired chemical in front of the drain of his shop. The chemical got stuck when he was putting expired chemicals in the manhole. After that, they were trying to take the chemical out of the manhole with the help of an iron rod, due to which the accident took place.
As soon as the accident took place, the businessman immediately died on the spot. His father Venugopal and others were injured in the accident and have been admitted to Osmania General Hospital where their condition is stated to be critical. Police officers along with the team rushed to the spot and collected the chemical for forensic examination. A case has been registered in the matter and an investigation is on.
