Lucknow: A major accident took place on Monday in Anupshahr of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Five members of the family, who came from Jalalpur village under the Pisawa police station area of ​​Aligarh to shave the child, drowned in the Ganges river while bathing. Among them were three women. The body of a woman has been recovered. The search is on for the rest.

On Monday, 41-year-old Neeraj wife Ajit Singh, 18-year-old Deepak son Ajit resident of village Mitholi, 25-year-old Ravi son Harpal, 28-year-old Kalpana Devi wife Manoj Kumar, 37-year-old Shashi Devi wife Munendra resident of village Jalalpur on a temporary ghat in front of Bawsterganj Ghat. Thana Pisawa District Aligarh, had come to bathe in the Ganges. While bathing everyone went into deep water. All five people drowned in the Ganges river while trying to save one.

During this, the sailors and some youths, after hearing screams, took the 41-year-old woman out of the river, she was immediately taken to the hospital. There the doctors declared him brought dead. On receiving information about the incident, SDM BK Gupta, Tehsildar Balendra Bhushan Burma, Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Kumar Pandey, Kotwali in-charge Yagyadutt Sharma reached the spot with the divers. Search is on for the drowned people. The spot is about 1 kilometer from the road after walking in the sand. This has caused a lot of problem in delivering each of the salvaged items. After the incident, there was an outcry on the banks of the Ganges.
