Patna: The Patna High Court has stopped the judges of seven cities of Bihar from working. Big action has been taken by Patna High Court on 7 judges. The High Court has banned 7 judges posted in different cities from doing any kind of judicial work with immediate effect. All these judges will not even hear from Wednesday. From Wednesday, all these 7 judges have been deprived of all judicial and administrative powers.
The same order has been issued by the Registrar General of Patna High Court, Arun Kumar. Accordingly, the District and Sessions Judges of Khagaria, Madhubani, Katihar, Banka, Patna, Rohtas and Muzaffarpur have been given information and necessary action. The judges who have been banned by the Patna High Court from doing judicial work. They are Principal Judge, Family Court of Khagaria, Mr. Raj Kumar-ll, ADJ Isratullah, Madhubani, Mr. Vipul Sinha, Secretary, DLSA, Katihar, Chandra Mohan Jha, ADJ, Banka, Shatrughan Singh, ADJ Patna, Rohtas, ADJ Parimal Kumar Mohit and Muzaffarpur. (West) Sub Judge cum ACJM Satish Chandra has been deprived of all judicial and administrative powers with immediate effect.
On the one hand, 7 judges have been banned for just hearing. On the other hand, normal functioning is expected to start soon in all the courts of the state. There will be a physical hearing in the Patna High Court from February 21, due to the third wave of Corona, online hearing was being held here for the last 4 months. Physical hearings will be held in the court four days a week, while virtual hearings will be held on one day through video conferencing.
