Lucknow: With the commencement of the election year, the Reservation Struggle Committee has started a campaign to meet political parties and implement the system of providing reservation in promotion. In the same sequence, representatives of Sangharsh Samiti convenor Avdhesh Verma, along with the national president of SP and former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, passed the reservation bill in Parliament in the promotion and also implemented the system of providing reservation in backward classes to the backward classes.
SP President Akhilesh has also assured that with the implementation of reservation system in promotion in the state, after the formation of SP government, reverted Dalit and backward class personnel will be promoted again. Reservation Struggle Committee has prepared a program to meet the national presidents of all political parties. On this occasion, Avadhesh Kumar Verma said that about 2 lakh Dalit personnel were reverted in the SP government. Due to which Dalit personnel are still feeling humiliated. He also urged Akhilesh to clarify the party's view on the issue.
Awadhesh further said that after discussing the issue for almost an hour, SP President Akhilesh Yadav admitted that there had been some mistakes in his government, which would now be rectified.
