New Delhi: Amidst the outbreak of Corona epidemic, the cycle of cricket's return is moving forward. Cricket Australia has announced the schedule of the first 21 matches of the 2020-21 season of the Big Bash League. The league's opening matches, starting on 10 December, will be played in Hobart and Canberra Bubble. After this, matches will be played in Queensland (23 December) and Adelaide (28 December).

The first match of the season will be played between Hobart Hurricanes and current winner Sydney Sixers at the Blundstone Arena. The venue of matches in the new year will be announced in the coming weeks. Cricket Australia has expressed hope that with the relaxation of the restrictions on the border, matches will be organized in every state. BBL Head Alister Dobson said, "There is no doubt that this was the most difficult task the league has ever had with fixtures and we are very happy with the way it happened."

He said that this year has been very difficult for many people all over Australia. If the border conditions allow us, we want to take BBL to every state." He said, "We are working closely with our clubs, broadcasters, partners and the government on the remaining 35 matches and finals of the season. An announcement in this regard will be made in the coming weeks. "
