Cricket Australia has announced the schedule of the first 21 matches of the 2020-21 season of the Big Bash League. The league's opening matches, starting on 10 December, will be played in Hobart and Canberra Bubble. After this, matches will be played in Queensland (23 December) and Adelaide (28 December).

The first match of the season will be played between Hobart Hurricanes and current winner Sydney Sixers at the Blundstone Arena. The venue of matches in the new year will be announced in the coming weeks.
