Mumbai: The war over reciting Hanuman Chalisa continues in the country's financial capital, Mumbai. Mp Navneet Rana has suffered another setback ahead of his appearance in the court today. Another case has been filed against Navneet Rana. An FIR has been lodged against him under Section 353 of the IPC. Navneet Rana has been charged with giving a record in government work. Earlier on Saturday, the police had arrested the Rana couple after a day-long ruckus. 

At the same time, after the FIR was lodged against the Rana couple, Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil said that see, there have been two incidents. For one, an attempt was made to incite riots on the pretext of Hanuman Chalisa. Necessary action has been taken on this. That is why the Rana couple has been arrested. At the same time, action has also been taken on last night's incident. There is a need to show understanding in this matter.

Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil said that BJP leader Kirit Somaiya was attacked and an investigation is on who did it. He said that the police do not need to give a separate order, they are doing their job well. He said such an atmosphere is being created in the state so that President's rule is imposed here.
