Lucknow: The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has now announced financial assistance of Rs 2,500 to all orphans in the state. That is, the government will also pay Rs. 2,500 per month to children who have lost their parents or parents for any reason after children orphaned by the Coronavirus. The Yogi cabinet on Monday approved the government's proposal. The Yogi government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 2,500 to such children under the Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana (General).
2500/- per child per month to a maximum of two children of the family falling under the eligibility category under the scheme. The scheme is 100 percent state-funded. According to an official statement issued on Monday, the Council of Ministers approved a proposal to provide financial support under the Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana (General). Under this, children under the age of 18 who have lost either their parents or either parent or guardian for reasons other than coronavirus will be given financial assistance.
At the same time, children whose mother is divorced or deserted or whose parents or family principal are in jail, or children who have been freed from child labor, child begging/child prostitution and accommodated in family/family environment, and children from families involved in begging/prostitution will also be given financial assistance.
