Khargone: CCTV cameras will be installed in all mosques in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh following violence and communal tension after throwing stones at a procession taken out on Ram Navami in Khargone. A Muslim cleric pointed out that installing cameras would make it easier to trace criminals in such incidents. This work will be done throughout the state.

According to the report, the cleric said that we have installed CCTV cameras in mosques in Bhopal. Bhopal's city Qazi Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi said, "We have appealed to the clerics to do so across the state. CCTV cameras will crackdown on stone-throwers.'' Stones were thrown in the procession taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami, followed by violence in Khargone. After this case, a curfew was imposed in the town. Nadvi said CCTV footage will reveal from where the stones were thrown at the time of such incidents. It is completely wrong to demolish the 'illegal structures' of those involved in the violence in Khargone.

On the other hand, in Khargone, the situation is now rapidly returning to normal. The police and administration were extra vigilant during the Hanuman Janmotsav on Saturday. The temples were closed. In the morning, people had darshan from outside the temples as they were exempted from the curfew for two hours. The officers kept touring the area. No temple is open on the same Hanuman Janmotsav. Curfew was relaxed between 10 am and 12 noon. Due to this, the devotees had darshan from outside the temples.
