Bhopal: Reports of shortage of coal have also started coming from Madhya Pradesh. On the apprehensive power crisis, state Power Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has assured that he will not allow power crisis in the state at any cost. There is definitely a shortage of coal; we have tendered to bring 30 lakh metric tonnes of coal by road.

Power Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar was talking to reporters in Gwalior. He said, what is the power situation in Rajasthan, Maharashtra. The situation is much better in Madhya Pradesh. I am not saying this, newspapers, and channels from all over the State are speaking. We are in very good condition. Even today, there was a demand of 12,000 MW. And we have given about 12,000 MW of power. Coal is coming, we have made arrangements. There is a coal crisis, but if there is no natural calamity, we will not allow any crisis. We assure that we will be able to give power quality to the people.

Power Minister Pradyumna Singh said Kamal Nath is seeing a shortage of coal because this was the condition of electricity in the Congress government. On the appointment of Dr Govind Singh as the leader of the opposition by the Congress, Tomar said that Dr Govind Singh has been appointed only because he comes from Chambal and speaks against the Scindia family. So Govind Singh has been appointed to target a leader. Because of this party went out of power in Madhya Pradesh. In these two years, the Congress party has not carried out any agitation on the ground.
