Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2023 is one and a half years away. Even before this, political parties have started practising the voters. On Sunday, Congress state president Kamal Nath said that if Congress forms the government, he will implement the old pension in the state. I'll apply it in every situation.

On Sunday, state Congress president Kamal Nath made a big statement at the Madhya Pradesh teachers' congress session. Addressing the programme, Kamal Nath said that if the Congress government is formed in Madhya Pradesh, we will restore the old pension, and we will implement it in every situation. Kamal Nath said that the old pension has also been implemented by other Congress governments. Let us know that after the implementation of the old pension scheme in Rajasthan, the demand for implementing the old pension scheme in Madhya Pradesh has intensified. The employees' union has already announced a major agitation. The ruling party MLAs have also written to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding the implementation of the old pension.

In the same state, the new pension scheme was implemented in April 2005 by discontinuing the old pension scheme. More than 3.35 lakh employees have joined government service in the state since January 1, 2005. Of these, 2.87 lakh are teachers and the remaining 48,000 are employees of other services. Let us know that in the old pension scheme, at the time of retirement, half of the salary was given as a pension. For this, the money was not deducted from the salary of the employee.
