'No power cut on Eid-Akshay Tritiya unnecessarily...', CM Yogi gave strict instructions on festivals

LUCKNOW: Yogi Adityanath, the CM of UP, the country's largest state, on Sunday launched the e-pension portal. The chief minister said that 11.5 lakh personnel will be directly benefited from this service. It's part of the 'Ease of Living'. He further said that good thinking always moves us forward and with that good thinking, the government has also implemented an e-pension portal for you.

Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi issued guidelines to Team-9. He said there should not be unnecessary power cuts on Akshaya Tritiya, Parshuram Jayanti and Eid. During his visit to Delhi, the Central Government has been assured of cooperation on power issues. Railways will provide additional rakes for the transportation of coal and the state will get additional power by the central government. 

He said that there is effective control over Corona in Uttar Pradesh. However, for the last two weeks, cases have been increasing in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad in NCR. Where cases are getting more, it has been made mandatory to wear face masks in public places. At least 1.5 lakh corona tests should be done on a coming day. Continue the work of genome sequencing by taking samples of people who are being tested positive. The Chief Minister directed Team-9 to plan to set up cow shelters with a capacity of 2000-2500 bovines at the development block level. The arrangements in all the cow shelters in the state should be maintained smoothly. Arrangements should be made to protect the bovines from heat or the sun. There should be proper arrangements for green fodder, straw etc.
