Jaipur: A case of gross negligence on the part of doctors and nursing staff has been heard at the Government Women's Hospital in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The staff here declared the newborn dead and handed it over to the family members. But on the way, the family took the child to another hospital and doctors there called the baby alive. After the incident, the family returned to the Government Women's Hospital and complained about the case. The hospital administration is in a tizzy as soon as they come to know about the incident. The proceedings of the case were investigated in Anan-Phanan. Investigations revealed that it was the staff here who declared the girl dead.

In this regard, Ravi Kumar, a resident of Nahar Kala Ramgarh, has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Medical Officer requesting action against the negligent nursing staff in the case. In the memorandum Ravi Kumar said that his pregnant wife was admitted to the women's hospital on June 15. Doctors here made emergency deliveries when his health deteriorated. But the baby girl was shown dead on a hospital ticket.

Meanwhile, when the baby cried, the local staff was asked, but they ignored it. After which the family took the girl to a private city hospital where the baby is said to be completely healthy. The family members are now requesting action against the government women's hospital staff in the case. Dr. Tekchand of the hospital said that the matter has come to my notice. It is being investigated as to how such a huge negligence took place.
