Biplab Deb abruptly quits as 'Tripura CM', submits resignation to Governor

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has tendered his resignation on Saturday. It is being said that there was resentment among the people about his style of functioning in the state. In such a situation, he has submitted his resignation to the Governor. Then, now the BJP is brainstorming about electing a new Chief Minister of the state.  

The BJP Legislature Party will meet at 5 pm today. In which a new chief minister will be elected. For your information, in 2018, Biplab Deb became the Chief Minister of the state. It was being said that for the past few days, the high command was not very happy with the working style of Biplab Deb.  

In the meantime, Biplab himself has submitted his resignation. It is worth mentioning that the assembly elections are going to be held in Tripura next year. In such a situation, TMC is seen to be very active in the state. In such a situation, it is being said that before the elections, the BJP has taken the step of handing over the reins of the state to a new face to strengthen the party.  At the same time, it is not officially known why the resignation of Biplab Kumar Deb was taken.
