Reliance Jio customers will soon get a new facility to recharge their prepaid plans. Now JIO customers will be able to recharge their prepaid plans through Whatsapp and Meta. Jio Platforms Ltd director Akash Ambani has said that Jio and Meta are working together to provide maximum convenience to customers.

Akash Ambani said at Meta's Fuel for India 2021 event, "And one such way is to Jio on Whatsapp, which has made the entire prepaid recharge easier, which is going to be launched very soon. This will provide customers with the same facility as they had never had before."

The recharge feature on Whatsapp is scheduled to be launched in the coming year of 2022. Jio Platforms Director Isha Ambani has said that the feature can simplify the recharge process, especially for senior citizens who are sometimes going to find it difficult to get out. He has said, "It's really exciting how the ability to make the end-to-end experience as well as payments for recharge through Whatsapp is going to make millions of Jio customers' lives more convenient."

Prepaid plan with Rs. 1: Reliance Jio has launched the cheapest prepaid recharge plan. This plan is available for just Rs. 1. Jio is going to launch this plan for customers who use fewer data. Jio's Rs 1 plan offers 30 days validity. Getting 100 MB high-speed data. When the plan is about to expire with a data limit of 100 MB, internet speed is going to come down to 60 kbps. The plan does not feature calling and messaging. This plan is going to be of great use to those who just have to keep their SIM active.
