Hero I League, one of the country's top football leagues, is about to start again in Kolkata from March 3. Indian Football Federation (AIFF) CEO Sunando Dhar has issued a statement regarding the resumption of the tournament. I am in touch with all the clubs, and all of them have expressed their enthusiasm, and are looking forward to starting again.

There will be no change in the format of the I-League and 13 teams will play each other in the first round in a round-robin format. After the first round is over, the teams are divided into two groups - Group A will consist of the top seven teams fighting for the championship title, while Group B will consist of the bottom six teams playing each other. . Each club will play once in the second round against opponents in their respective groups in a round-robin format. The matches will be played at three venues Kalyani Municipal Stadium, Naihati Stadium and Mohun Bagan Ground.
