WhatsApp has launched the Message Reaction feature on its platform last month. Now the messaging app owned by Meta appears to be working on making it even better. So far, when members of a group have also started sharing a reaction to an image in an automatic album, it is not possible to see which media they have reacted to without opening the album. Instead, WhatsApp shows which member of the group shared what reaction. Which means, users will have to open the album and see each image to know the details.
WhatsApp is working on the new update: Now, the messaging app is also going to work on fixing it. Simply put, whatsApp's upcoming update to the Message Reaction feature is making sure users know what response is getting without seeing each image one by one in the album.
Now, WABetaInfo has said in its latest report, "Although we don't know which media got to see the reaction without even opening an automatic album, WhatsApp is also going to see the detailed feedback information by showing us media thumbnails in the future."
The report also says that while this screenshot is also showing an image of WhatsApp for the interface of iOS, the company is also working on making similar changes to WhatsApp for Android and WhatsApp for desktop apps. As far as availability is concerned, the feature is still in development and it is not known when it is going to arrive on WhatsApp's apps.
