Big news for those traveling by train, IRCTC changed the rules of ticket booking

New Delhi: There is essential news for people travelling on trains. The rules have now been changed for those booking tickets from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). According to the new rule, you can now book more tickets than before in 1 month. You can get the benefits by linking your Aadhaar Card Link with IRCTC to IRCTC. 

In fact, till now a maximum of 6 tickets could be booked online in a month from the IRCTC account, but now 12 tickets can be booked in a month instead of 6 by linking Aadhaar with your IRCTC account. Let us tell you that it is easy to link Aadhaar with irctc account.

For this, first of all, visit the irctc's official e-ticketing portal  irctc.co.in.
2- Now enter the user ID and password and log in.
3- Now go to 'My Account Section' appearing on the home page and click on 'Aadhaar KYC'.
4- Then enter your Aadhaar number on the next page and click on 'Send OTP'.
5- Now the OTP will come on the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar card. Enter this OTP and verify.
6- After viewing the information related to Aadhaar, click on 'Verify' written below.
After this, there will be a message on your phone that the KYC details have been successfully updated.

To book the same ticket, it is very important for a passenger's profile to be verified from aadhaar. The 'My Profile' under Master List is given in the tab. Before booking the ticket, update the master list by giving the name of the passenger and Aadhaar card details here.
