New Delhi: If you are travelling on a train due to Navratri fast, then there is no need to take any tension about food. On behalf of the Railways, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is providing a special fast plate facility in trains. More than 22 thousand Navratri special thalis have been sold in 3 days of Navratri. In such a situation, there is a possibility that this number may reach 1 lakh in the remaining days of Navratri. 

According to the railways, IRCTC's Navratri thali facility is available at 400 stations in India. From where passengers can book this plate by calling the 1323 number. IRCTC PRO Anand Kumar Jha said that this is a better facility, which was started so that people do not have any problems with food at the time of the Navratri fast.

Do not worry about eating in trains during Navratri fast:-

IRCTC's Navratri thali has sold out more than 22,000 in the last 3 days. Passengers are calling 1323 to book their plates. Let's know the menu of this plate of IRCTC...
For Rs. 99- Fruits, Kutu Pakori, Curd
For Rs. 99- 2 parathas, potato vegetable, Sabudana kheer 
For Rs. 199- 4 parathas, 3 vegetables, Sabudana khichdi, curd 
For Rs. 250-  Paneer Paratha, Vrat Masala, Singhada and Aloo Ka Paratha  

According to the railways, after the feedback received from the people, it has been decided to continue the system further. In fact, people fast several days a week. Apart from this, this facility will be available on Shivaratri, Janmashtami, and both Navratri of the year.
