New Delhi: There has been a drastic change in many parts of the country in the recent past. An official statement has also been issued in this regard. In fact, CESRAC has launched a consumer empowerment campaign for safe and responsible consumption of alcohol in association with the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI).
In an official statement on Saturday, the Centre for Safe and Responsive Alcohol Consumption (CESRAC) said that the drive will be conducted at more than 100 restaurants in major districts like New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Mumbai. CESRAC is actually a joint initiative of industry body CII and the International Spirit and Wine Association of India (ISWAI).
CESRAC organized an e-forum in this regard on Friday. As a result, N. Bhaskar, Advisor (Science and Standards), Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) also spoke about the need for advanced and valid technologies in laboratories for authenticity testing of IMFL (Wine and Spirit) and traditional liquor.
