Snapchat is partnering with the restaurant review website The Infection to enable users to find the locker food on Snap Map, which has also been announced by the company. The social media app is adding a new map layer from The Infection to give users access to restaurant recognition for the space around them.

Users from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Denver, D.C. and London are also searching for a new layer in the right corner at the top of the map and will also be able to select The Infection to start looking for restaurants around. Once you've found it at your favourite restaurant, you can share it with your friends via chat or add it to your favourites to save it later and come back to it when you plan.

As part of the new partnership, users will now automatically see The Infection Review in Place Profiles in more than 50 cities around the world. Snapchat says that more than 250 million users use Snap Maps every month to see what their friends are doing. The company launched Layers in Snap Map last year so that users can find a new way to work with their friends. The company's layer feature lets users add data directly to their map from snap's chosen developer partner so that they can see the world in a particular view.
