Bollywood film actress Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's advocates have filed a defamation case against actress Sherlyn Chopra. The move came after Sherlyn recently lodged an FIR with Juhu police station accusing businessman Raj Kundra of serious charges. Sherlyn had accused Raj and Shilpa of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation in her complaint. Not only that, but Sherlyn had also made a lot of allegations about Shilpa and Raj through a press conference.

Raj and Shilpa have filed a defamation case of Rs 50 crore against Sherlyn's allegations. According to a report received, the notice issued by Raj and Shilpa's advocates states that Shilpa and Raj have termed the allegations against them as "fabricated, false, fake, trivial, baseless". Advocates of Raj and Shilpa claimed that Sherlyn made the allegations with the intention of defaming her and extortion.

Further, the notice also mentions that Shilpa Shetty is not involved in the working matters of the JL Stream app. The notice read: "Sherlyn is trying to draw Shilpa Shetty's name without any reason to create unwanted controversy and attract media attention. That, we have full faith in the Indian judiciary and we sue Sherlyn Chopra for defamation of Rs. 50 Crores ”
