New Delhi: Following an order by the NGT in Delhi-NCR, 10-year-old diesel automobiles and 15-year-old petrol vehicles have been banned. The Delhi government, on the other hand, will soon have some good news for owners of such automobiles. The Kejriwal government is working to provide relief to these people, and a comprehensive strategy has been put in place to do so. These vehicles will soon be able to be converted to electric trains. For this reason, the Delhi government would also supply discounted kits.

The AAP government has also made it possible to convert 10-year-old petrol and diesel trains to electric. The news comes as a welcome relief to owners of 10-year-old petrol and diesel trains in Delhi. The Delhi government has also ramped up efforts to bring relief to the city's tens of thousands of petrol and diesel car owners. For this reason, the Delhi government has begun the process of appointing manufacturers and suppliers of electric retrofit kits for use in such petrol and diesel trains. Thousands of train owners in Delhi would benefit enormously from this.

In this respect, the Delhi Transport Department has issued a public notice. The recent notice stated that manufacturers and suppliers of electric retro fitment kits for pure electric operations including retro fitment of electric propulsion in these trains will provide information to the Transport Department about the make and models of such trains. In which electric kits can be fitted.
