A plane of the police personnel travelling through the plane crashed in a mountainous area in eastern Turkey. Seven police officers on board the plane have lost their lives in this incident. Turkish Home Minister gave this information on Thursday. Suleman Soylu told reporters that the aircraft was returning from a surveillance and reconnaissance operation on Wednesday.
The plane got crashed in the Artos hills of Wan, the eastern province bordering Iran, the aircraft was lost from radar reach and debris found at 3 am. All the people on the plane, including two pilots of the aircraft, belonging to the police force, Soylu said that the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
