Lucknow: A major road accident took place in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. Three people died on the spot in the accident, while two people were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The police have started the investigation by taking the bodies of the dead. The incident took place near the Galibapur intersection of the police station Kotwali Utraula area. 

In the accident, three people, have died. While a girl and a woman were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The dead include Siraj Ahmed, Arshad Hussain, Nurjhat. All of them are residents of Patel Nagar village of Kotwali, Uttaraula. Police have started investigation by taking possession of the dead bodies. The investigation of the case is going on continuously.

On the other hand, even though the state is getting 30 infected patients daily on an average in August, it is a matter of relief that the death rate has come down. This month, four people died in 17 days, the average being one death in four days. While 50 patients died in 54 days in June-July, the average was one in a day. So far 2,355 patients and 104 have died of infection. It took 98 days until the number of the first death was 50, one death was occurring in about two days. There was a lockdown at that time and the number of infected patients was 967. After the lockdown opened in the second phase, the number of infected patients and dead increased rapidly. During this period, 50 patients died in 54 days and 1841 patients were found.
