This news of this plan will make you think that the more serious matter is that the plan was not made, that in 2006, the Delhi company was imposed for the plan with a contract of Rs 4 crore. The same company was to be handed over to the planning regime by 4 September 2008. For this, full payment was made to the company within the deadline itself. Rather, lakhs of rupees had been spent on high-level meetings of this water plan. Even after 12 years, the company has not submitted the report. Two years ago an internal committee had been set up to investigate the matter. The same company also revealed the complete breakup in its report, while this report has also been buried for a year and a half.

It was found that technical advisory committee meetings for the water plan have been held 9 times. In the same water resources department, a master plan cell was also made for it, which is no longer in existence. In 2018, technical suggestions and point wise amendments were sought from the executive engineers of all river-basins in the state, but so far no one has given. Delhi-based Wapcos was blacklisted by the department in 2014, after 8 years. By then, the company had been paid more than Rs 3.75 crore. Once again in 2018, engineers have activated for water master water plan again. After that, the matter became cold again. Many reminders were sent to the company on this matter, but no reply was received from there.

Kutare, who was appointed as Executive Engineer in the Department of Water Resources in 2006 and the Technical Advisory Committee of the Master Water Plan, has said that the company WAPCOS has always kept the department in deception and has not given any kind of cooperation. The number of times the TAC showed deficiencies in the master plan but the company did not make any kind of improvement. The same kutare has retired from the post of Engineer-in-Chief some time ago. On this subject, the department had asked the company a year ago that they should do the Compliance, but this also did not happen. The same issue can be told only by the officers of the department.
