After reports of nothing good happening between team India's new coach Rahul Dravid and captain Virat Kohli, Dravid proved the claims false by praising Kohli for the second time in a row. This was stated by coach Rahul Dravid while talking to the media even before the second Test. He praised Virat Kohli's captaincy and described him as India's best captain. He also appreciated Kohli's efforts.
Asked about Virat Kohli's mammoth score and a century with the bat, Rahul Dravid replied, "I think big runs are coming soon," he said, "He is practising well regularly and really engaged. Remind you that Virat Kohli has not been able to score big even after a good start to the Test match, and his last century with the bat came in 2019. Indian Test captain Virat Kohli is a brilliant captain. He is a great captain both on and off the field. We hope Virat Kohli will be seen in his brilliant form soon.
I have played many similar innings in my career, Rahul Dravid revealed when I could not turn a solid start into big innings. Everyone expects you to score big and KL Rahul has done well so far. The rest of the players will also have a chance in the upcoming match. When you play for the long term, you may be doing well but not able to score big. There is no reason to be worried as only one innings is required for a big score.
