The 29th day of Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 begins with Sooraj taking a 'Nadan Pattu' (folk song) class. All housewives enjoy this act as they sing some popular folk songs together. Later, Bigg Boss announced the nomination process. Everyone goes to the Confession Room and nominates co-contestants. Interestingly, Daya nominates Pradeep after stating that she had known him for years but she is not friendly to him in the house. Bigg Boss named 5 contestants Jazla, Pradeep, Veena, Reshma and Daya.

 Bigg Boss assigns a new task to the contestants. In the task, housewives should rank themselves in chronological order of 'who should be in the game'. The game starts in peace and Rajith chooses to finish 4th. But, an argument begins when Arya suggests Fukrey to be in the first position. Reshma noted that Fukrey is quite childish. Hearing this, Fukrey says that being childish does not make him a less qualified player.

Later, Pashnam Shaji and Pradeep also argue for their respective positions. Finally, when the alarm rings, Arya, Raghu, Jajla, Veenu, and Manju appear in the top 5 positions. Later, Bigg Boss presents a power card to all these 5 contestants. After the task, Fukrey shouts Manju to comment against him during the task. Manju is seen in tears as Fukrey makes a mistake with her. The two later resolve the issue and embrace each other.
