Supaul: A child has been killed in Kasha village under Latuna South Panchayat of Triveniganj police station area of Supaul district of Bihar. The body of Sikandar Yadav's elder son Sourav Kumar (13), who lived in Kasha Ward 3, was recovered from the Matkuria Canal bank of Ward 5 on Thursday.
Saurabh was eating at a banquet in Ward 4 on Wednesday evening. He was kidnapped from there on Wednesday night and brutally murdered and thrown near the Matkuria Canal. The culprits first stabbed the child in the neck and head, and then his eyes were also removed. On the spot, the family members of the deceased told the police that at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Sourabh was eating a banquet at Dinesh Saha's house in the adjacent Kasha Ward 4. He was there till 9 o'clock in the night.
When the child did not reach the house till 11 o'clock in the night, the family began to search for him at night. On Thursday morning, a passer-by saw the child's body along the canal. When the information was received, the family also reached the spot. Where the body of the child was soaked with blood. The heartbreaking incident has mourned the nearby village, including Kasha village. The cause of death is not yet revealed. The vice president Sandeep Kumar Singh said that the cause of murder has not yet been cleared. The police is investigating the matter.
