While taking selfies on the boat, a boat in the Gandak river overturned unbalanced, causing five children on the boat to drown in the fast current of the river. According to information, some children from Kadhan village under the Kesaria police station area of Motihari district were crossing the Gandak river to cut grass. There were also three children in the boat who had come from Motihari to celebrate Holi at their friend's house. While crossing the Gandak river, the children started taking selfies on the boat itself. While taking the selfie, the boat overturned unbalanced and all the children present in it started drowning. When the locals saw the children drowning, they started trying to save them. Two children were rescued by the efforts of the people. But three children were swept away by the strong current of the river. Even after lakhs of efforts by the villagers, when there was no trace of the three, it was reported to the police and administrative officials.
After receiving the information, the police administration team, which reached the spot, deployed the cow-eaters to look for the children. The three children were not known until the time of writing the news. There is an atmosphere of gloom in the entire area after this incident. The families of the children, who have not been able to find any information about them, are crying badly. The name of a child who has washed away in the fast stream of the river is said to be Aditya, who was studying in class VIII and had come to his friend's house on the occasion of Holi. At the same time, Mithilesh Kumar and Krishna Kumar have also been washed away in the river, whose search is on.
