Hajipur: Bihar has once again witnessed the havoc of speed, which took the lives of 3 innocent people. In the Bhagwanpur police station area of the state's Vaishali district on Friday, a speeding uncontrolled car crushed people standing on the roadside, killing 3 people, while three to four others are said to be injured.

The station in-charge of Bhagwanpur, Alok Kumar said that a Maruti Swift car was going from Muzaffarpur towards Patna that it became uncontrolled near Ratanpura village under Bhagwanpur police station area on National Highway No. 22. The car crashed into a shop trampling people standing on the side of the road. The station in-charge said that two people died on the spot in this accident, while one died while being taken to the hospital.

The station in-charge said that three to four people have been injured in this accident, who have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment. In view of the delicate condition of an injured, the doctors here have referred him to Patna. The police have taken the dead bodies in their possession and sent them to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for postmortem and the matter is being investigated.
